Purpose/History of Award

PG电子APP马耳他十字社区服务奖章是为了表彰PG电子APP的学生而设立的, alumni, 表彰员工及社区成员在社区服务方面的杰出表现(宣教周), Day of Caring, Service-Learning Activities in Class, Interprofessional Education Service Activities, etc).

Clarkson College traces its roots to Omaha's Child's Hospital, which opened in 1883 through the efforts of Bishop Robert H. 克拉克森，内布拉斯加州主教教区的主教，作为一个慈善机构. Following the death of Bishop Clarkson in 1884, 医院的名字改为克拉克森主教纪念医院和他的妻子, Meliora, guided the hospital into the 20th Century. Qualifications/Selection Criteria

Annually, 一名学生和一名员工/校友/社区成员将获得马耳他十字服务奖. 

Student Eligibility:

  • Currently enrolled student in good standing
  • 申请表及推荐信已填妥并递交

Employee/Alumni/Community Member Eligibility:

  • Employee must be in good standing
  • Alumni verification will be completed by the College

Award Process

  1. 此奖项申请可通过以下任一选项在线提交:
    • Nominate yourself by completing the application.
    • Nominate someone else by completing the nomination form.
  2. 提交的提名将自动生成一条消息给被提名者，并要求他们填写奖项申请. 提名可以由学生、校友、员工和社区成员提交.
  3. If you are completing the application, please complete the appropriate form; either student application or employee/alumni/community member application. 在提交在线申请时，需要一封服务同事的推荐信.
  4. 申请将于每学年的9月1日至5月15日接受. 5月15日之后，总统办公室将召集一个委员会审查所有完整的申请.
  5. 学院院长将主持评选委员会，并每年任命以下成员. 成员包括来自以下团体的一名成员:学生会协会, Alumni Association Board, Faculty Senate, Staff Senate, Professional Development, and Leadership Council.
  6. 校长将在6月董事会会议后以书面形式通知学生接受者和员工/校友/或社区接受者.
  7. 奖项将在8月的毕业典礼上颁发给两位获奖者.
